Hello all you Correlationers!
Apologies for missing the last couple weeks. To make it up to you, we start with an interesting fact that there are only two escalators in the whole state of Wyoming. If you count the up and down side there are technically four but that’s still a pretty weird fact. Escalators are great inventions for a lot of reasons but mostly due to Mitch Hedberg’s observation that escalators can never break, they can only become stairs! Mitch was amazing at observing funny things about life like: “Every book is a children’s book if the kid can read”, “I’m against picketing, but I don’t know how to show it” or “Rice is great if you want to eat 2,000 of something”. He was ahead of his time, so much so that he knew that peoples interest in rice is related to interest in escalators! That’s right, google search history for escalators has an 89% correlation with the previous year’s interest in rice from 2004-2018! Rice has been a pretty popular quarantine staple so once all this blows over we should get out to Wyoming to ride those escalators!
