Essential Choke

Hello all you Correlationers!

Another week behind us! Some days are easier than others but there’s still a heavy component of Groundhogs day going on. Brighter days are ahead as we all venture out more and explore the world to drink all the wines and eat all the cheeses. More events are happening and with actual human people in attendance which have been missed dearly in the last year. The 147th Kentucky Derby is happening next weekend where $3 Million will be awarded to the fastest horse to run the 2km track. The race usually is won in about 2 minutes so that’s a pretty nice chunk of change for an afternoon ride! $3M for two minutes even trumps the insanely rich Jeff Bezos which is estimated to make $150K per minute. Anyways! We always enjoy the weird names they give these horses and by this time you’re all like, but how do we figure out which name is the best and will win? That’s right! The length of the winning horse in the Kentucky Derby and the availability of Artichokes per capita in the US is 89% correlated from 2012 to 2019! Also, we got word that the favorite to win, Essential Quality, has a weakness for Artichokes as a late night snack so there’s that too.

Please subscribe for notifications when new volumes are posted! If you have a suggestion or feedback, we’d love to hear it! As always, if you know anyone else that would like to be a new correlationer, please let us know!
