Reduce and Reuse Your Goalkeepers!

Hello all you correlationers!!

We hope you're like us and believe that you don't have to be a die hard tree hugging tie dye wearing vegan hippie from the 60s to believe that we need to take better care of Mother Earth. There are many things we can do without going full out zero waste to make sure our carbon footprint is as minimal as possible. One of the easiest things to do is use fewer single use items and recycle what you can. In an office of 100 individuals that drink the national average of 2 cups of coffee per day using disposable cups, about 52,000 cups will go into the landfill per year just from their time at the office. That's not to mention the single use creamer packets, sugar packets, and stirrers all just to make the cup of Joe!

The waste really does add up quickly so we wanted to share with you a deep correlation that has a direct relationship with the recycling rate. It turns out that the monthly percent of recycling in the city of Buffalo, NY has a 69% correlation with the Google search popularity of Brad Guzan for the last 15 months. Who knew that Guzan's amazing goal keeping skills was just his way to try to bring awareness to the importance of recycling! The Atlanta United season is getting ready to start so spread the word and support Guzan's efforts between the sticks and recycle and reuse!
