America's Team: Atlanta Braves

Hello all you Correlationers!

We’re back! Yes, it’s been a while and for that we apologize. It’s been quite some time since our last post but worry not, for correlations still happen even if no one is around to see them! So for today’s edition, we stick to the popular sports ball game of Baseball. Ahh yes, the greenest fields you’ve ever seen. Uniforms so pressed and clean you might try to convince your parents to wear them to dinner. The Braves are doing their darnedest to take out last year’s World Series Champs but they’re not going down without a fight. This is where any advantage becomes curtail and boy do we have a little tidbit of info for you today. That’s right! The percentage of games the Braves win during the regular season and the age of winner of American Idol is -76% correlated from 2009-2021! Since this is a negative correlation, the Braves should be rooting for the youngest contestants!

*Please note there was no American Idol winner in 2017 because the show didn't have a season.
