Welcome new members to the club of counterfeit correlations! It’s a little crazy that we’re quickly approaching our one year anniversary, and we can’t thank all of you enough for being part of this great community of correlations!
As you know by now, we try to help you connect those dots you didn’t know needed to be connected and today is no different. If you haven’t heard the latest buzz, as of right now there are approximately 1.7 million people signed up to "Storm Area 51" to see some aliens. Our club is not affiliated with and does not support this event because we know a connection to aliens they don’t want you to know about! The National UFO Reporting Center (http://www.nuforc.org/) keeps track of UFO sightings back to the early 1900s and still logs thousands of reports every year. So naturally we wanted to get that leg up and found that the number of UFO sightings and the availability of fresh collard greens per capita are 81% correlated from 2001 to 2017. Who knew that your friendly comfort food side item was directly linked to people spotting more aliens! So feel free to skip going to Area 51 and sit down to watch the new Men In Black movie with a large serving of collard greens and I’m sure the aliens will come to you!
