Hello all you Correlationers!
Sorry we took off in May and there wasn’t a new edition for a while, but we’re back baby! Since we’ve been away, we’re now over 50 games into the MLB season but there’s a long summer ahead with plenty more to come. With Memorial day behind us, summer seems to finally be here and there’s no better way to kick off summer than to celebrate National Donut Day! Today, June 4th is Donut Day, so go grab your favorite tasty treat and get a jump on the weekend! And while you dig in, we’ll leave you with this tasty correlation! That’s right! The google search index for “donuts” and the average runs per game for the LA Dodgers is 90% correlated from 2012 to 2020! Maybe they need to re-brand to the LA Donuts to ride that train! Maybe we need to tell Patches O'Houlihan to add Donut as the sixth "D" of Dodgeball!
