The Nuclear Option

Hello again!

Here at Correlation of the Week, we are very privileged to be part of such an amazing group of people that enjoy the simple things in life. We thank you for your support and inspiration to help drive us to be the best versions of ourselves. We wanted to start with this statement because it’s important to know positive correlations as much as negative ones and the correlation we have to discuss this week is that the number of people who work themselves to death and power generated from nuclear power plants has a -81% correlation from 1999 to 2009. Since this is a negative relationship, this would say as we’ve generated more nuclear power, less people have died as a result of working too hard. The good news is that nuclear power is still on an upward trend and is also positively correlated with renewable energy sources so hopefully this trend will continue and we all can take more breaks to focus on what we all truly love.
