Hello again all you devoted correlationers!

Do you know those awkward moments when you’re talking to someone you barely know and you’re scraping the barrel for small talk? Well you’re in luck! Our correlation of the week is guaranteed to spice up your small talk to levels previously unknown! Weather is the age old crutch of small talk but what another topic that everyone complains about? Gas prices! That’s right, the average US temperature and the average price per gallon of Premium gas in the US has a 87% correlation for the 43 weeks of 1/1 to 10/22 of 2018! Thank goodness temperatures are cooling down so we can save some much needed dollar bills to buy presents for our loved ones and have small talk for those we don’t want to feel awkward around!
